History

David complemented his work as a winemaker on the Mornington Peninsula from 1992 to 1997 with study of viticulture and winemaking whilst establishing his own vineyard at Ensay.  With the financial backing of their parents Lorna and Bob, David and brother Peter began constructing the rammed earth winery and cellar door  in 1995 completing and opening for business in 1996 . Jenny and David  met in 1997 were married in 1999 and began raising a family of three boys Charlie, Max and Samuel.
